Sault, a village of sound

The Pastilles sonores project began in 2020. This project brings sound artists together with shopkeepers and their premises to create original short sound pieces.

Each artist spends a whole day with a shopkeeper in their establishment. He or she immerses himself or herself in the meeting and the atmosphere of the place, and then composes, writes and sometimes records in situ a 2 to 3 minute piece.

These creations can then be accessed via the La MAP'PS application, by scanning a QR code affixed to the façades of participating businesses. These ceramic supports were made by a local craftsman.

You can now stroll through the streets of Sault, listening to this unique sound trail.
